In a few days’ time we’ll be in Santarém (Portugal), taking part in yet another edition of Agroglobal, one of the most important agricultural events on the Iberian Peninsula.
Ten years have passed since Agroglobal began as a small trade fair dedicated to maize, and it now brings together thousands of professionals and more than 300 companies. From 9 to 11 September, we will be at stand A8 at the CNEMA (National Exhibition Centre) showcasing our latest solution for optimising subsurface irrigation: ‘Cu Protect’ technology.
This solution, incorporated into our PC700 and PC600 AS pipes, incorporates copper oxide directly into the dripper to create a physical and biological barrier that prevents root intrusion. This innovation extends the service life of the systems, reduces the risk of blockages and minimises the use of external chemicals.
Furthermore, both models feature Anti-Suction (AS) technology, which prevents particles from being sucked up from the ground, and a silicone membrane that ensures a stable flow rate. These technical features translate, in practice, into greater durability, less maintenance and more efficient water management.
