With a view to continuing our international expansion, we took part in a direct trade mission to Mauritania last January, alongside other companies from the Region of Murcia.

This grant scheme focuses on promoting businesses in our region by enabling them to take part in trade fairs and trade missions, as part of the 2014–2020 Internationalisation of SMEs Plan, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.

This grant provides AID IN KIND, in the form of services, amounting to the difference between the cost price of the services contracted and provided by the Murcia Regional Development Institute or its partner organisations, and the value of the contribution paid by the beneficiary, calculated in accordance with Article 19 of the aforementioned Order, co-financed up to 80 per cent by the ERDF Global Grant, for which this Institute acts as the intermediary body.

As a participating company, we had the opportunity to meet the country’s ministers of agriculture and finance, as well as to take part in other relevant meetings focused on improving food self-sufficiency through more efficient irrigation systems.

A trade mission that has undoubtedly enriched our knowledge and broadened our horizons in countries that are making great strides in the field of agriculture.
